The Wood: Solid oak is used in the spreader bars of every Hatteras Hammock. Each spreader is sanded to a superior finish and hand dipped with multiple coats of weather resistant marine varnish. Then, with pride, the symbol of Hatteras Hammocks is branded into each spreader bar.
Using no tools, the hammock stand can be assembled in minutes. Featuring the signature"Right Connection" superior 360 degree weld, it is the strongest and safest steel hammock stand in the industry. Twelve gauge steel is used in the construction with spring clip safety latches on all poles.
