The Vermont Estate Thermometer is the largest window thermometer on the market, bar none. This thermometer stretches over 38" from tip to tip with gigantic 1 1/8" numbers and with its spirit gauge accuracy. The solid brass components have been antiqued to a warm patina. An optical quality acrylic tube assures clarity and rigidity, while keeping the weight down to facilitate mounting. Non- mercury thermometers, such as our column thermometers, use pigmented mineral spirits and have proven to be just as accurate as mercury thermometers (+/- 1˚F in the middle of the range).
